Who We Are

SimpleHomes was started by Scott and Stephanie McKay. They have lived in southern Brazoria County since 1994.

The idea of SimpleHomes was birthed out of the need for new homes for low to moderate income families. Since 2008, Scott and Stephanie dreamed of this becoming a reality. 

Scott was the pastor at Willow Church in Lake Jackson for 27 years and in May of 2021, after much prayer and planning, he stepped down to pursue SimpleHomes. 

Scott and Stephanie are actively working to make the dream a reality.
